At the beginning of 2013, ZTE has brought us a wonderful gift – Grand S. No matter it is the 5.0-inch 1080P touch screen, or the 13.0MP main camera, or even the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064, each of them has reached at the top level. However, at the same time, the price of ZTE Grand S is also at the high level. Not everyone wants to spend too much money on a smart phone. It seems that ZTE has realized this problem. In last month, ZTE has just published another ZTE V987, which was regarded as the cheaper version Grand S. But, ZTE V987 is not the end of ZTE. And recently, ZTE released another cheaper version Grand S named ZTE V967S, which is even cheaper than ZTE V987.
ZTE V967S Main Specs:

- 1GB RAM + 4GB ROM
- 2500mAh battery + Android 4.2
ZTE V967S will be also equipped with a 5.0-inch IPS touch screen, but the screen resolution will be only at QHD level (960 x 540 pixels). Comparing with the 1080P level on Grand S, the screen is really very poor. It is even inferior to the 720P screen on ZTE V987. However, you should know that the price of ZTE V967S is much cheaper than both Grand S and V987. Though ZTE V967S is designed for low-end market, but it has the full functions. It is equipped with a 0.3MP front camera, though the resolution is very low. And on the back cover, it is also provided with an extra 5.0MP main camera. However, the back camera can support HDR, instant fast shooting, face recognition and 18 kinds of models. And in term of audio, ZTE V967S will be provided with the SRS 3D stereo sound effect.
In term of hardware configuration, ZTE V967S will be also built in the MTK6589 quad-core chipset, like most of the low-end quad-core Android smart phones. What’s more, it is matched up with the same 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. And the battery capacity will be high as 2500mAh. Furthermore, the operation system inside ZTE V967S will be the latest Android 4.2.
